Fast forward a few years and now your list has grown, and you have expanded your email marketing horizon. You are think about upgrading, but how do you know when it’s time? Here are a short check list to see if you have outgrown your current ESP:
- You need to segment your list for targeted email sends
- API integration
- To integrate to SalesForce.com, MSCRM, Omniture or another CRM or a web analytics tool
- More sophisticated reporting
- You need better metrics on delivery of emails
- Your organization has a eCommerce site and you are wanting to send confirmation emails
- Drip marketing

One source I found that increased my expousre via email was Wrapmail. It provides me with a frame to my email which is great for letting people know what I am providing. Also we recieve instant notification from the emails sent to our clients
